Screen will randomly freeze, audio still plays, but I cannot turn off my computer from the OS

It occurs randomly, sometimes after hours or like a few minutes after booting the pc. I've tried updating BIOS, graphics drivers, and checking the RAM to no avail. Sometimes if it happens while I'm streaming audio it will loop the last 1-2 seconds endlessly while the screen is frozen.
