SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD 1TB not showing up on PC

Hi all! Just got a new PC, have been offloading some files from my SanDisk drive. When I put it into the USB-C port at the top of the machine, I don't get a popup prompting me to open. I can find the item under "disk drives" in Device Manager, but nothing shows up in Disk Manager or File Explorer. I know the port works, because I have connected other devices through it, and I know the disc still works because I can connect it to my old MacBook.
