Samsung T7 2TB SSD external hard drive

I have a Samsung T7 2TB SSD external hard drive. For some reason, it is not showing up in the windows explorer and when I go to the disk management, it shows Disk 2, 465.76 Unallocated and Not Initialized. I am wondering why it is not showing the 2TB (or around that size). I have used this drive on my laptop before so I am not sure why it is not working. If I initialize it, will it erase everything on the drive? Is there any way of getting the data from the drive as I have important files on it? I have Windows 11 and an Alienware m15 R7 AMD.
