Running Youtube videos causes my PC to freeze and blue screen.

running videos or games for a couple minutes causes my pc to freeze for a few seconds before either crashing or blue screening. the blue screen error stop code reads VIDEO_SCHEDULER_INTERNAL_ERROR. I've tried a lot of things, updating graphics driver, rolling back graphics driver, windows memory diagnostic tool (which didnt detect anything). now my browser's framerate is a little lower than normal.
