Roblox Ping Spiking Up To 500+ Because Of Fps Unlocker

I usually get 60-70 fps while playing roblox, however when I use an fps unlocker my ping starts to spike every minute or so. My game freezes for a few seconds. Before I had a pc I had a laptop and when I used an fps unlocker on it, it worked fine, but ever since I got my new pc ive been laging when I use this, its almost unplayable. Im still on the same wifi I was when I was on my laptop. Ive tried different fps unlockers but the problem still occurs, Ive even tried factory resetting my pc but it didnt work.
