I have the following directory on my computer that is using approximately 50%
of my hard drive:

C:\Users\(name)\app\roaming

The folder continues to get larger and if I delete the contents the next day
it is back and at the same size. Other users in my area, including my
personal notebook, and desktop also have this directory, but it is less than
5GB total at any point. I hope someone can help determine what the directory
is for and how can I limit it's size.

you mean ..\AppData\Roaming?
It's where your user settings for your programs are stored.

Yes, \appdata\roaming (sorry) However, this directory is taking up about 50%
of my drive and others in my office have the same software and the same
directory is less that 2GB. I think I have a wrong setting is shadow volume
copy or my profile, but I'm not sure.

Any suggestions?
