Revoking digital license on computer

[Windows 10]

I bought a copy of windows 10 pro it came in a Microsoft box with a usb drive and product key but when I go to activate windows using the product key it gives me error 0xc004f050? Did it automatically activate with a digital license if so could you revoke it from the computer it’s currently activated on and activate windows on my laptop?
