Restart into Windows Recovery Environment (WRE) with a motherboard that does not have an onboard video output

I have a PC and a motherboard that does not have an onboard video output.The Motherboard is a ASUS Pro WS WRX80E-SAGE SE WIFII want to boot into recovery mode to look at and change some settings.When I reboot into WRE I get blank screens on my monitors because the video card obviously isn't working in WRE.
