A friend encountered one of those ransom sites using Edge in Win 10. Defender did not block it. After using Malwarebytes to clear any issues on the computer, other browsers work fine, but Edge continues to go to that site which does not allow us to clear edge ( it takes over the computer ).
So, I need to reset Edge to it's default values and start page without entering the browser. I'm quite comfortable with the registry, and I would assume that is where the data is stored.
Can someone provide me with a link to instructions, or list the registry entries themselves, where this is governed. Obviously we want to be able to use Edge again.
