Replacing Windows version.

Hi, I have my laptop which came with Windows 11 Home pre-installed. Now I purcahsed Windows 11 Pro retail. I tried to do a clean install but during install no option of selecting versions or product key. And after installation it shows that windows i active with digital license linked to my account. I tried to change the key but it gives error. What should I do to fix this issue. Any help will be appreciated.
