Repeated keyboard keys and mouse hanging

I'm having the same issues as described in this thread.Keyboard skips freezes repeats characters mouse hangs - Microsoft CommunityIt comes and goes, and hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh (lol) happens with multiple kb / mice and these same mice / kb work on other systems ok, so definitely a system issue). Interestingly, I also have a B450'ish motherboard. Asus Prime B450M-A II (updated to latest firmware) I've run sfc and dism scanhealth no issues. I've tried uninstalling various drivers / etc. but just wondering if there are tips specifically where to look. I may try a reinstall of the OS using recovery.
