Recovery key

I have the same issue. My HP laptop is brand new ordered from Amazon last month and I have not seen any recovery key. Also, my Microsoft account states that there is no recovery key uploaded to my account but my Laptop keeps prompting for a recovery key and is not moving forward without the key. Pls help
