Recovered my stolen hard drive with unwanted OS installed

Awhile back my hard drive was stolen out of my laptop and I actually managed to get it back and thankfully all my stuff is still on there. The only problem is they installed a new operating system Windows 10 X-Lite and all my data is now located in a folder called "Windows.old" I was able to remove the Interlopers admin account but I would really like to go back to my old OS with all my desktop and programs as they used to be. I can't seem to find any recovery files or restore points but I'm wondering if they might still be hidden somewhere. Any help would be appreciated so I don't have to sta
