On Friday, June 28th, my HP Laptop 17- cp1797nr would not connect to the internet. The taskbar icon said no internet connections available, yet my co-worker 6 feet away had no problems. When I clicked on the icon, the internet wouldn't even show up as an option. I restarted the computer to no avail. The device manager didn't show any network adapters. I clicked on view on the top of the page to show hidden items and it showed up there. I'm afraid to uninstall a hidden item because I don't think I'll be able to get it back.
