realtek driver doesn't work

so problem started like this:I installed windows on my laptop and the speakers had a little glitchy sound from time to time.so I installed driver booster from steam and it installed some sound drivers which fixed the issue but windows had some other updates for the realtek too, such as realtek extension which after it installed it, my computer says there's no speakers.I tried downloading the driver pack from realtek and installing it with device manager. it did come back in the device manager but it has an error sign next to it and in the device status says this:This device cannot start.
