Realtek Audio drivers not working (Windows 11)

Current specs/information: ASUS ROG Zephyrus M15, Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz with 16GB RAM.When I went to boot up my laptop, all of the audio ceased working despite working perfectly fine several hours before. I hadn't made any administrator changes to the laptop or installed any updates since the previous session. But now I have no playable sound and the microphone doesn't work either. When I go into sound test I get the "failed to play test tone" error. If I plug in a set of speakers or a headset to the USB or audio jack, the laptop recognizes that an external audio de
