.psd files won’t display as thumbnails. I FOUND THE ANSWER!!!!!

I had this issue with associating .psd files with Photoshop on a re-install of Photoshop CS6 2012 on a new PC with Windows 11. My file thumbnails were blank white. I tried associating it with Photoshop and it would NOT link. I have seen this issue asked about & discussed on many sites and NO ONE has had an answer to cure it.I FIGURED IT OUT! Basically, once I figured it out I felt like an Idiot! When you go to properties and try to change the "Open With", it shows Photoshop. When you try to "Change it to Photoshop & "Set As Default", nothing links and you still have the same issue. Wel
