Product key is wrong?

[Windows 11]

I put in new hardware and i go to put in my product key that I used before and it won't work it keeps saying it's wrong. I read that you have to prepare the computer for it first but I am not able to do that as the previous things were bricked so I had to buy new stuff for my computer.
