I have a home built PC with a motherboard that has a Bios implementation of a TPM2.0 chip. I’ve had it for a while and it was running Windows 10 on an M2 SSD. When Windows 11 first came out it simply refused to upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11, always failing with an error related to the TPM. In the end I worked around the problem by purchasing a second M2 SSD and installing Windows 11 directly onto the new SSD.
