Problems with user and update

My computer was preloaded with windows 10 and Micrsoft Office. I was happily using it and had added a number of programs I use for work. I generally use Firefox to browse the internet. There was a recent Windows 11 update. After that happened, both Firefox and Mail crash whenever I open them. I also noticed a new user profile added to my computer. I do not use any cloud services and don't want additional profiles on my computer. Some of the information I deal in is confidential. I tried to remove the additional profile thinking it was malware.
