Problem with Windows 11 (?) detecting external monitors from sleep

Laptop is Lenovo Yoga running Windows 11 with Intel(R) Iris(R) Xe Graphics driver. All up to date. The laptop is connected to two external monitors via USBC port and HDMI adaptor. The monitors work perfectly when the HDMI adaptor is plugged in, but when the laptop awaked from sleep, only one of the external monitors is detected. To resolve I have to unplug then re-plug in the HDMI adaptor to the laptop (USBC port) and this seems to nudge the laptop to detect both of the monitors. As a consequence, I am unplugging and re-plugging in the HDMI adaptor many times each day.When I connect my H
