Had to use Win 10 installation media (on USB stick) to access recovery options as the system would not boot, initially, due to corrupted BootMGR.The recovery was mostly successful, except now it will only boot if the USB key, that had the Win 10 installation media on it, is inserted. Trying to boot from C drive now yields 'BootMGR missing'. It seems the recovery process created an active Primary partition on the USB key (no drive letter so, system reserved??) and the system won't start (or continue running) without the key inserted.
