problem with my microphone

my laptop was working perfectly but I was running on HDD I switched to SSD but my microphone stopped working here is the steps i did :1.burned the windows on a flash drive and run it on my laptop and formatted everything,2.installed all the drivers available for my laptop on the DELL website3.found out that the mic. isn't working 4.reinstalled the ( Realtek-High-Definition-Audio-Driver_MMJNT_WIN_6.0.9107.1_A19_02.EXE ) driver but it didn't work5.I had some problem with running windows so I reinstalled it allover again and the MIC didn't work too6..bought a wired microphone tried it on my phone
