Problem when typing in URL

Hi,

when I type a URL into the adress bar, it seems to automatically add to the

URL adress,

i.e. typing in www.booking.com and in the adress bar /index.html

automatically appears.

How do I stop /index.html from automatically appearing?

I want www.booking.com not www.booking.com/index.html

Turn off auto complete or delete www.booking.com/index.html from auto

complete list.
