After about a day and a half after upgrading from the latest version of 8.1 to Windows 10, my computer crashed; I couldn't sign in and when I tried resetting my laptop, (Toshiba Satellite. Don't think it's my computer's problem, but i could be wrong about that) a solid dark-gray screen appeared and wouldn't go away. After resetting again, my laptop gave me the message something along the lines of "your computer didn't start up properly, what do you want to do" after some trial and error, I decided to try the option that said it would revert my computer back to windows 8.1, but delete all of my files. Unfortunately, my laptop was unplugged and ran out of battery in the middle of the process and died. I thought it had finished when I came back, but after getting a little charge, Windows 10 popped up and so far, I haven't had any outstanding problems but my laptop isn't performing as well as it was on Windows 8 so I want to go back. I know about going to "Settings -> Update & Security -> recovery" to revert to 8.1 within a month, but when i try to go back i get the message " you need to remove accounts created after upgrading before returning to windows 8.1". The only problem is that there's only ever been one account on my computer. The only thing i can think of is that it's related to the loss of power during the reversion process. Is there any way for me to go back to windows 8.1? I tried queuing up for live tech support, but it said the wait was 335 minutes, and I honestly don't know what i'll be doing in five and a half hours. Sorry for the long post, I rather give a little too much information rather than too little. Thanks in advance!
