Problem Related Regarding BRIGHTNESS

Hi I am facing a issue of brightness. When my laptop is plugged in the screen brightness is much and when laptop is unplugged in dims. My brightness is set to full only. When I go to BIOS, it shows a slider that in unplugged its 50% and when plugged its 100% and I am unable to change the slider. Please resolve my issue. Please refer to the image below.
