Problem logging in using network credentials, how to solve this issue?

[Windows 11]

Trying to establish connection between my two laptops (Laptop 1 is the server laptop and lap 2 is the new) to merge an app on both. However, when I try to enter my network credentials of laptop 1 on laptop 2 so I can start the process, I keep getting msg that username or password is incorrect. To me it seems like it is the administrative password and not my Microsoft account password as I have already tried resetting my microsoft password and it is not helping. Please advice.
