Can start the service in services.msc but when it is required to do anything such as manage a printer, or try to add a printer, it will stop.
Event ID 7034 - The Print Spooler service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 3 time(s).
I have checked the dependencies and they all start and have been started fine. Here are the other things that have been attempted:
sfc /scannow
ran chkdsk
checked %SystemRoot%\system32\spool\printers\*.* , nothing in here at all, completely empty
checked in registry CurrentControlSet, removed the printers in there
tried to install feature for LPD and LPR, this did not work however, but might be domain related as no device has these installed
deleted all files and folders in C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers
I removed all the printers that I could from the machine to see if they are causing issues, but I could not remove one called TASKalfa 2533ci, which is the model of printers we own.
It simply hangs around, not able to be deleted. Cannot be removed from device manager either, just sticks. Cannot be removed by cmd or powershell as this tells me spooler needs to be started, same with trying print management.
