Precise location cannot be determined on a Surface Pro 8 LTE with Verizon SIM card

I have a Surface Pro 8 for Business with LTE Advanced Model 1982 i7. BIOS version/date: Microsoft 26.106.143 8/16/2024I have installed a verizon sim card. When out in the field, I am able to access the internet so I know the sim is working. However, whether I try to find my location with Bing or Google maps by clicking the "Location" button, the window zooms out to the whole world and at the bottom displays "Your precise location could not be determined." Opening Google Earth in Edge gets me to within 850 m of my actual location, but using Google Earth desktop, my location is 200 miles off
