From a month or so I have seen powershell pop up suddenly on my computer screen and then just go away. I thought it was some internal process and at start there were 4-5 powershell processes in task manager occupying around 40mb each. Later after 30mins - 1hour or so each is taking up more than 100mb upto 200mb, eating up all my ram. Sometimes my laptop hangs for this reason reaching 90% of available ram. I've seen two similar posts on this : 1. Powershell suspiciously high ram usage - Microsoft Community : I followed the steps mentioned but i couldn't find any powershell, ps1 or rundll entry
