Pop up notifications about remote access and viruses

Pop up notification saying someone is remotely connecting to my laptop in Russia then lots of notifications saying my laptop is infected with viruses. I’ve ignored these and done a quick scan through my virus protection app and it says no threats. How do I stop these pop ups?
