Please help! Usb drive not working at all. Directory name is invalid please insert disc into usb drive data error (cyclic redundancy check) WINDOW

Not long ago i bought a new usb drive a 64 gb sandisk and it worked fine, but now for some reason when I plug the usb driver in it give me a "the directory name is invalid error" and when i try to access my files it says "please insert the disc in to usb drive". I tried a bunch of thing like doing a chkdsk or making a new simple volume (cause i saw that in a bunch of tutorials) but when I try to make the volume it gives me a data error (cyclic redundancy check). It's possible that my usb drive is corrupted and now unaccesable but please help if there is a solution to it.
