Please help. A virus got past SpyBot and it jammed up my registry processes. I have tried Restore but that doesn't fix it.

Please help. A virus got past SpyBot and it jammed up my registry processes. I have tried Restore but that doesn't fix it. What can I do? Can I call a Microsoft tech? I thought I was talking with one but he ended up being a scammer.
