As I posted earlier, I recently got a Windows 10 machine. Earlier problem was resolved. New headache is, when I try to play a music file, Groove music pops up. Now, yesterday, I installed a Windows media player. I can open the music folder I want, but when I click play, Groove player starts. Putting it mildly, I don't want Groove player to do anything. I want the WMP to play the tracks. When I installed WMP, I specified I wanted it to be the player for all my files. Am I stuck using Groove, or is there a way to specify the other player? Sure wish Microsoft didn't get rid of their 11 Player. Easy to operate. Yeah, I'm a curmudgeon.
