Pin automatically changed and locked me out

I am trying to logon to my windows machine , with my set pin , but it says wrong pin.So i tried i forgot my pin , took me to the microsoft account , but is not allowing me to reset the pin, says something went wrong.To reboot , i tried shift + restart , shift +f8+restart , nothing worked so far.
