Photos was just re-loaded but for some reason is opening multiple windows corresponding to number of images in folder

Photos was just re-loaded but for some reason is opening multiple windows corresponding to number of images in folder. It waa working properly the other day but suddenly opens a zillion windows, instead of opening one window with arrows going forward and backwards, thus hogging system resources
