photos app popping up CONSTANTLY

hi there! i am currently downloading photos off of google onto my laptop, but every time i download a picture, it opens a popup from my photos app. normally it's not too annoying, but when i'm downloading multiple photos and the app pops up every. single. time. for every. single. photo. it is so frustrating and annoying. especially since a new pop-up from the app of the image comes up with each individual image, i keep having to exit the tab with every image, and if i don't, they keep piling up in the corner of my laptop. i am so desperate that i even tried to terminate, refresh, and restart t
