Photos App in Windows 11 modifies quality when opening photo (brightness issue)

I'm running Windows 11, and I'm having problems with the Photos app. When I double click a photo, it opens with the Photos app, but the quality/colours/brightness/contrast of the photo looks totally wrong. The "thumbnails" AND the "preview" of the photos in File Explorer are correct, it's only when double clicking the photos that the problem happens. It works fine with a third-party photo viewer. It's only the Photos app that has the issue. SOLUTION:
