Phone Link Group Chats

Since the past couple of days, Phone Link has started to split up my group chats into two separate threads. When I text a response, my text appears in a new thread, so I have two threads: 1 with the texts from the original texter and the other recipients, and 1 with my responses. The closest to an answer I could find from Microsoft was: "When Phone Link can't determine if a message was sent to a group chat, it defaults to displaying that message in the conversation with the individual contact." I don't know why Phone Link should suddenly be having this problem, and it's really annoying.
