phone link ads a bot on group message

Every time I send a message using Phone Link to a group, it ads a bot, or a bunch of text I don't recognize to the group details. What gives? It also creates a new group. What an inconvenience and why does it do this. Don't want to show the text as it may link to me.Personally, I don't trust this app at all. MS constantly has problems with their software that is totally unfriendly and this is one example. Unless I get a good, clean, and understandable answer, I think I'll use Google Messages in Chrome instead.
