PDF down loads not working - being flagged as having a virus threat ... Failed - Virus scan failed.

Tried down loading a turbo tax PDF file of my return and am getting the message failed virus scan failed. I removed McAfee anitirus, still not working. Tried down loading bank statement as a pdf, getting same error. Also got it on another site. Only started happening a couple of days ago. Right now says my security providers are: ANTIVIRUS - Microsoft Defender Antivirus is turned on.
