PC won't connect to any monitor without an adapter.

So I have a Skytech Gaming PC that I bought, in like Christmas 2023 or something. And I have been using an adapter for it. I used an HP and an Acer monitor to connect. Both with HDMI cables going straight into the adapter that would then plug in with USB. Recently, my mom had to take my adapter for her own use, and now no HDMI cables will connect my PC to any sort of monitor. I tried both of my monitors, into both possible locations for HDMI in, and I even tried a TV. What;s wrong with my PC?I run Windows 11 if that helps.
