Pc performance issues maybe audio or memory related?

For the past couple of weeks, I've been experiencing a persistent issue with my PC. The problem begins when my audio crashes unexpectedly, accompanied by a loud, distorted noise of the last sound I was listening to. the system becomes extremely laggy forcing me to restart it, and in some cases, certain applications fail to load properly. When I attempt to open Task Manager, it appears blank, with no processes or data displayed.
