Hi! My 8 month old pc is beginning to have issues.
It started 3 months ago, during startup the pc would spontaneously shutdown/restart. A couple weeks ago I got a BSOD pointing towards RAM but after a mem test then and now, that doesn't seem to be the issue. Used snappy driver to install/update any needed drivers, used my mobo's inbuilt tool to update its bios via network, and I used driver verifier following this thread; Driver Verifier-- tracking down a mis-behaving driver. and will be attaching the DMPs, along with my MSinfo32 data, aswell as my computer specs through Speccy.
All of my required files are in this google drive: MS Data Dump - Google Drive
Only thing to note is that my main gpu is a 2080TI but for troubleshooting purposes switched it out for a gtx 1070 (Speccy and MsInfo show 1070) and the issues has happened with both. Consistently got Event 41 kernel-power with these bugcheck codes: 278, 80, 160, 26, 59, 209.
Before I switched off fast startup the bugcheck codes would deliver: 0.
To summarise and add on details appropriately:
I have updated my drivers, updated my mainboard's bios, and ran a mem test which came back ok.
I have just spent an hour 'playing' Hades (pc first time crashed during use on this)/Destiny 2 (low impact games but still) on my gtx 1070 and I had 0 issues throughout (no overheating).
I did the Driver Verifier process mentioned in a seperate thread (and above) and successfully managed to force BSODs claiming "driver_verifier_detected_violation" with no driver name and am uploading the DMPs, MsInfo32, and PC Specs as requested by that thread here: MS Data Dump - Google Drive
Thanks!!!! will be paying attention to this chat feverishly seeing how cyberpunk is out in 3 weeks hahaha
I'm somewhat grateful for its delay bahahaha
