PC freezes because of Steam

Hello there, I have a recent issue with my device. For about 1,5 week it happens that after a while (the time varies) when I hover with my mouse cursor over the Steam Client, or interact with Steam Client, my entire PC freezes and only solution is to reboot the entire thing. It's also fully freezing when I play a game and open the Steam-Overlay.I checked the Windows updates, they're up to dateI. I did multiple sfc /scannow, but it says there's no issue. I updated all my drivers and reinstalled the Steam Client. The problem is still there. I've contacted the Steam-Support and they think it's so
