Outlook "Losing" E-mail Profiles

I keep getting an error when trying to open Outlook that no profile has been defined, with instructions on how to define one. But when I go to Mail to look at what happened to the profiles they are already there. Then I open Outlook and it works.

This is less annoying than if it actually did lose my profiles, but why does Outlook think the profiles are not defined when they are?

I am using Google Calendar Sync to synchronize my Outlook Calendar with Google Calendar. But I also just set up two profiles at the same time, so I can't assume the porblem is related.
