About 2 months ago, MS tech support took over my computer and changed my email accounts in Outlook from POP to IMAP. Currently, within my YMAIL INBOX in Outlook, there is a folder called ANNUAL PICNIC, which accidentally got dragged from my GMAIL account up to my YMAIL account. I cannot delete this folder even though it is empty. I believe I read that, since this is IMAP, the folder is controlled by the server so I logged into my YMAIL account and I thought I could delete it there. However, in my online YMAIL account the folder is not there, leading me to believe that this is a problem I am having within Outlook (2016) itself.
Also, since know this folder originated in my GMAIL account, I deleted the original ANNUAL PICNIC folder from there, thinking maybe it wold delete from the YMAIL account but it didn't work. Can anyone help explain how I can remove this folder?
