Outlook Desktop App slowing down One Drive Folders on Laptop

Hello Everyone. My One Drive Folder on my Surface Pro Laptop is now suddenly extremely slow. It takes a long time to open a file and occasionally freezes entirely.I have just realised that this only happens when I restart the system and open up the Microsoft Outlook Email application. Once I start up the Outlook email application, the problem does not resolve even when I close Outlook app.On the other hand, if I restart my system and ignore the Outlook desktop app, onedrive folders open and work as normal with no issues.Your assistance will be appreciated.
