I would like to create a custom form that extends the appointment form. In the tab (P.2) I would like to insert some fields that are not available by default in outlook/exchange. These are a series of checkboxes that indicate which materials will have to be prepared for the meeting. E.g. yes/no fliphchart, yes/no markers, yes/no water etc. I must then create new fields to persist this information and send it with the invitation to all participants.
This new form must be used by all employees of my company.
The questions are:
1) compatibility
a) are there compatibility problems in using custom forms with future versions of outlook/exchange?
b) within the company we have more shared calendars. These calendars are the meeting-room calendars. Can there be problems if I try to create appointments involving different calendars?
c) it is not necessary that the extended informations are also readable outside the organisation but it is important that the invitation is received by external parties and that the new tab does not create exceptions problemsb) if and how can I make only this new form to be used instead of the default one?
2) override: how can I ensure that all employees use this custom form instead of outlook/exchange default form?
3) deploy:
a) in deploying the custom form are there particular hints to follow?
b) is this custom form also available on owa?
