Hi Everyone,
We're currently moving all our users over to a new Exchange 2016 server and planning on getting rid of the 2010 Exchange.
One remote user Who's using:
Outlook for Office 365 MSO (13.0.11601.20130) 32-Bit
(Though the Main About Outlook Screen says Version 1904 (Build 11601.20144 Click-To-Run) Monthly Channel)
is having the below issue:
-Whenever we add a mailbox hosted on the 2016 Exchange to his Outlook, it takes an obscenely long time to add, then Outlook will freeze up and become unresponsive.
-Upon relaunching Outlook we get the error
--MAPI 1.0 [000004C2] folowed by
--Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook window.
--Sometimes I just get Could not open the Information Store
-Launching Control Panel > Mail > Email Accounts... also freezes for a very long time but does mercifully eventually open to allow me to remove the problematic mailbox from Outlook and allow it to launch.
-This doesn't just happen with his original mailbox when migrated, creating a new mailbox on the 2016 Exchange causes the same issue
-Moving the Original account back to 2010 works fine
What I've tried:
-Setting up the account on the Built in Windows 10 Mail App (This works totally fine!)
-New Outlook Profile
-Removing All Outlook profiles and then doing a new profile
-Repair Install
-Full Reinstall
-Recycling the Autodiscover App Pool on Exchange 2016 (Multiple times)
-[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Outlook\AutoDiscover]"ExcludeHttpsRootDomain"=dword:00000001 and "ExcludeHttpsAutoDiscoverDomain"=dword:00000001
Anybody have any ideas?
Cheers
Paddy
